Product description
Reference: DIELECTRIC OVER 3
Electrically insulating overshoe for live working or work near installations with a nominal voltage of up to:- 26 500 V alternating current (AC)
- 25 500 V direct current (DC)
Insulating shoes, boots and overboots are the only PPE that provides protection against step voltage.
They are used whenever there is a risk of moisture absorption for leather footwear.
100% of overboots are tested.
Designed for short-term use or emergency situations (no need to remove footwear)
Ambidextrous
Front gusset for easier donning (European patent N°20152655.5)
Secure fit without compression regardless of the shoe size or volume
3 lateral adjustment straps:
- Constant hold without compression regardless of the shoe size or volume
- Front junction to prevent snagging when moving through cluttered terrain
Injection-molded monobloc overboots
Comply with standards :
EN 50321-1:2018 class 3 AC, classe 2 DC
- Individual AC proof test at 30 000 V (a 50 000 V DC proof test can be performed upon request)
- Product tested up to 120mm form top of upper for AC test (130 mm if DC test is requested)
- Leakage current lower than 20mA for AC test
EN ISO 20347:2022 OB HRO SR
- Basic requirements (OB)
- Contact heat resistance of the sole (HRO)
- Sole slip resistance assessed on:
- Ceramic floor with sodium lauryl sulfate
- Ceramic floor with glycerin (SR)
